Licensing, Warranty and Privacy
Licensing Requirements
Certain products offered for sale may be subject to licensing or Home Office authority.
A valid and appropriate licence or specific authority must be provided by the customer prior to any such goods being supplied.
For export orders, SHIELD will, where required, apply for the necessary export licence from the relevant UK competent authority. In support of this process, customers must provide all appropriate import, export, and trading licence documentation required within their country.
Where applicable, customers must also provide a completed End User Undertaking (EUU) in a format acceptable to the relevant UK issuing authority.
Warranty – Third Party Products
Products supplied where SHIELD acts as an agent for an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) are subject to the warranty terms and conditions of the respective OEM.
SHIELD does not provide any separate warranty for such products unless explicitly stated.
Privacy
SHIELD does not share customer data with third parties except where necessary to:
- Fulfil orders
- Comply with legal obligations
All data held by SHIELD is processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
Warranty – SHIELD Products
Products designed and manufactured by SHIELD carry a limited lifetime warranty on materials and workmanship.
Electronics carry a 7-year warranty.

Customers must:
Create an account
Submit a warranty request via the Support section
Obtain an RMA number before returning goods
Returned products will be inspected, and SHIELD will repair or replace faulty components where applicable.
Customers must remove batteries before returning products.
Shipping labels can be generated via the customer account area.
Excluded from warranty:
Consumable items (e.g. batteries)
Wear and tear
Damage caused by misuse or improper handling
The Company reserves the right to reject claims where products have not been used as intended.
This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights.
