Following the release of the AMS, comes the latest offering from SHIELD: the AMSc. Expanding the range of enclosed emitter products, the AMSc offers a host of features similar to its big brother but in a scaled-down package, aimed at narrow-frame or single-stack pistols for EDC and concealed carry requirements.

Utilizing our unique SHIELD footprint ensures forward and backward compatibility with existing firearm installations and accessories. A newly designed aerospace-grade billet aluminum body provides a host of features not normally found in a micro-compact product.
No-click adjustment allows for much more accurate zeroing with wider limits of elevation and windage. Multiple battery tray options allow for a choice of battery capacity to increase operational life or reduce the overall profile of the housing.
A nitrogen-sealed housing, submersible to 30 feet for 30 minutes, ensures all-weather capability with zero user interaction required.
Benefiting from multiple patents, the AMSc is still able to offer co-witnessing using our hollow bridge rear sight design and remains watertight while being one of the smallest and most attractive enclosed sights on the market.

The patented design features include:

  • Utilizes SHIELD’s patented mechanism, enabling co-witnessing with standard iron sights, considerably reducing training times and costs.
  • The mechanism uses no click adjustment, making it infinitely more accurate when zeroing.
  • Square, crystal-clear glass lens with no filters to disturb the image of the world through the sight.
  • Machined from aerospace-grade aluminium to extremely precise tolerances while maintaining an attractive, modern-looking optic.
  • Smallest and lightest in its class, weighing only 27.1g (battery excluded).
  • Automatic brightness adjustment, so it can always be on and ready.
  • 20,000 hours in average daylight with a CR2032.
  • Side access battery compartment with the option of a CR2025, CR2032, or CR2050 battery, offering the user a choice of better battery life or increased concealability.
  • Nitrogen-sealed housing, submersible to 30 feet for 30 minutes.
